Commissions
I am happy to take commissions for art works and to lead community art works.
Do you have something special to commemorate? I can create cot quilts/play mats to celebrate the birth of a child; larger quilts/throws to celebrate a marriage; or maybe it is some sort of anniversary that needs an heirloom quality memorial.
Cot Quilts – a patchwork quilt/play mat with the name, date, weight or anything else you want hand-embroidered onto the central patch.
£60 + cost of materials and postage.
Marriage Quilts – ask the guests to sign their names on a patch at the reception with a fabric marker. The central patch will be hand-embroidered with details of the couple and the date, and then the patches will be assembled into a patchwork quilt/throw.
£360 + cost of materials and postage.
Community commemorative banners – I have worked with communities to create something special. Two examples can be seen in St Mary’s Church, Lenham – banners to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and the church’s 1200th birthday. I am happy to discuss any sort of community based project or a straight commission. Price would be negotiated according to time and materials.
Art in your home – I am happy to consider commissions for wall art and art as soft furnishing. Price would be negotiated according to time and materials.
Workshops

I can show you how during 2 hour workshops in your home or at your meeting place
I have a wide variety of art and textile skills in my repertoire and can tailor a workshop to suit your needs. I charge £100 to cater for up to 10 people and can give talks and demonstrations to larger groups. I work mainly with adults but will consider children aged 8 years and above.
Workshops include: Colouring Textiles with Dry Media;
Drawing and painting of all sorts;
Embroidery of all sorts; Knitting on Fingers, Forks and Frames; Macramé;
Patchwork of All Sorts; Rag Rugging;
Recycling stuff;
Smocking;
and anything else can be negotiated to suit your interests.
